Motorcycle Touring: Road FoodTraveling by motorycle is nothing without a few stops for good food7/18/2011 — Waterfront Mary's, Webster, MA Mary’s is on a small peninsula which extends into "Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg"—also known as "Lake Chaubunagungamaug" or "Lake Webster." The restaurant is nestled in a small lakeside community, and if you did not know it was there—or had been given directions—you would never find. 6/18/2011 — Carl's Oxford Diner, Oxford, MAWhile most New England area bikers were up in New Hamphire at the annual Laconia Motorcycle Week, I and two buddies took a ride for steak tips and eggs at Carl's Oxford Diner. At first glance, Carl's is a typical small town diner consisting of a primarily counter seating with a small back room and 6 or seven tables of four. What sets Carl's apart is there propensity for serving large quantites of food and making fun of you for not finishing it. |
