The bicycle is a simple machine, and possibly the most efficent every created.
Each pedal stroke turns muscular power into kenetic energy pushing the machine
are rider forward as one. It is this eligent synergy between man and machine
that provides the insiration for my cycling art.
In 1987 I created four pastel paintings with a cycling theme. These paintings
sat in my portfolio as life and making a living got in the way of my dream--to
turn these paintings into prints/posters so that I could share them with other
cyclists. Finally at the end of 2003 I decided to follow through, producing the
first four lithographs in what I hope will be a long line of cycling art
prints/posters.
At the present time my cycling art prints are not for sale. At some point in the
future I plan on bringing them back to market. Please check back on a regular basis.

There is nothing like hunkering down in the drops and hammering...

|
As cyclists, we have all faced this moment. A long ride, totally exhausted,
rounding the last corner, only to face "the wall." There is nothing left but to
stand and grind it out.

It is moments like this, when we are at one with the bike and our surroundings,
that make head winds and the hills worth every ounce of effort.

Lay back, kick up the speed and feel the rush!
